A Work in Progress, My Shared Video Archive

Greetings fellow Plebs & Peasants,

In a quest to preserve various info/videos/etc from being memory holed thanks to the digital book burners, I have long kept local copies of media on my hard drive. And over the years, sometimes due to system or hardware failure, sometimes due to me being a damn idiot, those hard drives have lost all data more time than I care to think about. Quick guesstimate of maybe 10 terabytes or more collectively. Recently it occurred to me that I could use Telegram as an easy way to not only store backups of my HDs, but to easily share with others. No point in keeping all this media all to myself. So while its still a work in progress, I created a Telegram channel solely dedicated to this cause. I know its not the best way to do this, but unfortunately am unable to do it the right way at the moment. I welcome anyone to give it a look. No login is needed so if you are not already using Telegram or do not want to sign up for whatever reason, that will not be an issue. If you already use Telegram, no explanation needed. If you don’t, it’s just like going to any video site. Videos can be played in browser, or can be downloaded (which I hope some do in order to have more archives. Upload and share at will). To do so, just right click the video, choose ‘save as’, and put it wherever you put downloads on your device. Currently I have ~220 videos uploaded; documentaries, various presentations/discussion, movies, TV shows, etc. More as I can make time. Upload speeds on basic residential really suck, but such is life. So, I hope ya’ll check it out, and hope ya’ll find at least one thing you have never known about before. IF that happens with at least one person, the effort is has been well worth it. So, enoy, or don’t. Stand strong & God bless.
