2 billion rounds to DHS alone. Which was estimated to be enough ammunition to wage a ten year war at the height of intensity in Afghanistan (I cannot say for certain if true, just something someone claimed to have calculated at the time, but sounds reasonable IMO).
Why The Heck Is DHS Buying More Than A Billion Bullets Plus Thousands Of Guns And Mine-Resistant Armored Vehicles?
Now, I’m not implying they are up to no good. But I’m also not implying they aren’t up to no good. But one must ask, what the hell does the post office or the Dept of Ed need tactical units for?
