I tried to look up "Appeal to Authority" on several of the many logical fallacy sites out there, and every one I found lists an unusual caveat. They claim that an appeal to authority is a legitimate argument, as long as the authority in question is an "expert" in the relevant field, and there is "consensus" amongst the experts that the matter is "settled".
So what they're saying is that an appeal to authority is not fallacious, as long as you commit a bandwagon fallacy instead.
What a psyop. This isn't logic; it's propaganda.
Quick refresher on the scientific method: Science is never "settled". That's not how science works. For one thing, those "experts" are humans, and humans are fallible. Full stop. There is ALWAYS room for doubt.
If the last four years have taught us anything, it's that "experts" are just as susceptible to jumping on bandwagons as normal people - more, once you factor in the certification boards that take away the livelihoods of the ones who question the "settled" science.
An appeal to authority occurs when someone backs up an argument by saying *who* agrees with it, rather than *why* it should be so. This is a fallacy, in the formal logic sense. This doesn't mean the argument isn't true; just that it isn't proof. There are no exceptions just because you really really want to believe the authority.

What is the one word that you hate the most?
For me, it is the word "we." It is a presumptive word that seeks to pull others into a specific belief or agenda. It is a word that reeks of either low-intelligence, or malicious intent. It is literal "collective-speak."
Below is an example of how the social engineers control both the blue crowd and the red crowd to achieve a common goal:
Shortly after the #Wikileaks documents leading to the #pizzagate narrative dropped, two #psyop emerged. #RussianGate targeted at the liberal/democrat crowd and #Qanon targeted at the conservative/republican crowd. While the former was an overt attempt to discredit the pizzagate narrative (Russian hack which later shifted to #Trump colluding with Russia) the latter was an attempt to control, misdirect and ultimately turned into ridicule the pizzagate narrative (trust the plan, Clinton running a sex trafficking operation out of a pizza parlor).
Both psyops had for common goal to confuse people (both the blue and red crowds) as to what is true or false in regard to the pizzagate narrative. Psyops are often run on both sides in order to divid and conquer which is a manipulation tactic that never gets old…

People who want special treatment & special recognition are just fueling division that would otherwise naturally cease to be an issue.
As part of The Great Inversion - the swinging from darkness to false light in the form of the freedom movement falling for the Right-wing - I often hear people say that the Republicans are the lesser of two evils compared to the Democrats.
However, this is not necessarily true in all situations. For example, did any Republicans stand up to oppose Israel's actions against the Palestinians during the RNC? Are any Republicans besides Massie speaking against the Israeli lobby?
There may be another 1 or 2 exception, but by and large the answer is NO. The Republicans are still war mongering Zionist bootlickers.
In contrast, there were dozens of delegates at the DNC who took a stand against Harris and Biden supporting Israel's criminal actions and calling for an end to supplying weapons to Israel. Of course, they are being ignored and will fail but the point is that they are taking a stand on an issue that matters.
Does this mean these delegates are correct about all issue? Of course not. Does this mean the Democrats are perfect? Absolutely not.
Does this mean I support the Democratic Party? No fucking way. But I also don't support the Republicans. That's my point.
This is one of the most effective ways the false left/right paradigm keeps people trapped.
The Freedom Movement needs to recognize that the Republicans and Conservatism are not inherently the answer to a more free world. The answer is individual liberty.
Unfortunately, so many people who claim to love liberty have fallen for the narrative that the Republican Party, and more specifically, Trump are the answer to the Democrats insanity.
Each side can have some reasonable positions and some really insane ones. Certain people will be attracted to those issues and follow the party which tells them what they want to hear. And sure, there are legit differences in some cases.
However, ultimately, certain issues progress regardless:
- War,
- the Surveillance and Police State,
- Endless Debt and Central Bank Manipulation of Currency,
- the Stripping of Civil Liberties,
- the Merger Between Corporate and State Power
The only way to stop this march towards technocratic tyranny is to stop falling for the fake left/right paradigm, understand The Great Inversion, and reject the fake political theater.
Without thousands of basically decent people confused enough to obey, evil would fail quickly.
Hey Republican voters. Pointing out the problems with the Dems to other Repubican voters solves nothing. Maybe look at your own team and be equally as critical. Voters always ask me for a solution. Here is one. Clean your own fucking house first, hold your team to the same exact standards and stop wasting time with your circle jerk echo chambers that consist of nothing but virtue signalling and pointing out the obvious to people who already think exactly like you.

It's said free speech doesn't include yelling 'fire' in a movie theater. People parrot that narrative as if it is fact. But where is this implied case law stating such? Take all the time you want looking for it, but all you will find is one time it was used as an example as to speech that might be able to be restricted. And let's be honest, whatever a law may say, nothing can stop you from doing so. Could there be consequences should someone get hurt? Absolutely. But with rights come responsibility.

If they want to start a war, or change something significantly in how the country operates, they don’t try to sell it to the people through reason and debate anymore.
