Greetings fellow Plebs & Peasants,

As I am sure you all know by, in a recent interview with Glenn Greenwald, Wikipedia co-founder, Larry Sanger, has made a claim about the CIA editing Wikipedia entries since 2007:

What you may not realize if you didn’t read past the headlines (here, here), or listen to anything more than sound bites of the interview, is that he also made claims that the FBI did so as well.

We do have evidence that, as early as 2008, that CIA and FBI computers were used to edit Wikipedia,” he said. “Do you think that they stopped doing that back then?”

Another thing you may not realize is this is not the first time this issue was reported on nor was it the time he publicly made these claims. The evidence he speaks of in the quote above was widely reported on in 2007:

Which now brings us to today and the reason for me writing this (tin foil tux time).

So even though the reports and claims include both CIA and FBI (as well as implied claims of other federal agencies), why is the media narrative really only talking about the CIA and why is this 16 year story being rebooted again? Well, one has to look no further than what the FBI is catching heat for lately (social media censoring). Is it possible that this story was planted, or at minimum the narrative is being stage managed, by FBI assets in the media? That they want to divert attention away from their fuckery of late? But both agencies work for the same evil establishment you may be thinking. Yes they do, but its pretty well known and long established that there is quite often inter-agency pissing matches, especially in intelligence and LEO circles. So, maybe I am onto something, maybe I am over thinking it, but the media does not care about the truth and they will omit or spin facts as needed. This story is being run for a reason, and the search for truth certainly is not it. But regardless of my assessment or their reasons, this is a perfect example why headlines alone can be misleading, as well as the digital crack of 2023, the 30 second soundbite. Always dig deeper, especially when the headline confirms a previously held notion. Confirmation bias is one hell of a drug. Due diligence is a must. So, until next time, stand strong and God bless.
