Didn't realize that people were freaking out about that. Just saw the one person, made a few comments and suggestions and moved on.
BTW, Peppermint Linux, which I mentioned in the other post, has an interesting aspect to it. Unlike most other distros I've tried where you boot into a non-persisting trial session, Peppermint Linux's image actually allows you to run as if it were installed - great for file recovery or just as an alternative distro that you can try out, install to and not lose anything you do there.
I was looking for this but all that kept coming up was the Strawberry audio player. Could you give me a link to their site? Got a second pc I use for testing and tinkering so would like to check this one out

You can't find it because I screwed up. It's not strawberry OS - IT'S PEPPERMINT OS.
Sorry - terribly embarassed.

hahahaha, well that certainly explains it. And no worries, it happens. Thanks.
Actually, if you could add a note to my comment about it; that it's Peppermint OS, I would appreciate that.
comments can be edited, but I will clarify it on the other post comments
I thought I couldn't edit it because it wouldn't edit from my phone, but I was able to fix it from my computer.
Several months ago, an article on Unlimited Hangout suggested Linux among other alternatives to Big Tech software.
