still requires a prescription so I'm sure they'll be getting their pound of flesh somehow. And there is the whole 'health care provider' concept these days that doesn't always imply an actual doctor, particularly in the 'tele-health' industry. It seems like there is some move away from MDs that's been growing over the past few years. And just think how much more money hospital admins will rake in if there are less actual doctors on payroll. But all that aside, yea I gotta agree the doctors themselves were likely not in on this plan.
