The ethics of gene editing nature aside, the real problem IMO will be that we can be certain of deceptice labelling and lies about any dangers
Well that's unEthical. It is incumbent upon Any who would do something knowingly that might be negative in impact to inform All who might be of the possible issues and give Them an out.
Obviously its unethical. Thats my point. And its more than that. Its truly criminal.
Anything unEthical IS criminal...
The three Laws of Ethics (Natural Law expressed as the three things not to do):
1. Do not willfully and without fully informed consent hurt or kill the flesh of anOther
2. Do not willfully and without fully informed consent take or damage anything that does not belong to You alone
3. Do not willfully defraud anOther (which can only happen without fully informed consent)
Well that's just not true. Its immoral and unethical to lie, but its not necessarily a crime in and of itself.
How do You figure? The third Law says not to defraud anOther. Lying is a defraud. Ergo, it is a crime.
