One of the best hip hop shows I've seen aside from The Roots and Wu Tang.

Saw Roots on their OkPlayer tour. The way they did it was spectacular. The Roots' band played the whole show, for all the acts. And instead of each act doing a full set at one shot, the lineup rotated doing maybe 4 songs each and going thru a few times. It was just amazing. Saw Wu-Tang with Rage when they toured together, and prob cuz we were out in the field and it was a large arena, their sound just wasn't right.

The Roots played the whole time when I saw them too. It's why it's in my top favorite shows. They had this sick violinist with them that got her own set and then she did another with this fire ass female MC. Epic.

You got to see the Wu with ODB though. He was the only one missing but I lucked out and saw them at a small most excellent venue.

I almost got to see Wu before they blew up. There was a very small club that did mostly shows of local bands, and Wu was supposed to perform for a low low price of $5. But before the date, they kinda got big (prob after Protect Ya Neck started getting play would be my guess) and that little one never happened. I never even heard of em at the time, but the name jumped out at me.

That would have been 36 chambers for the whole show. Damn. At least you got to see them. I had to wait like 20 yrs to see NOFX and Goodie Mob. I like NOFX what can I say. Fat Mike in a teddy rocks. 😁🤣

Forgot about Goodie Mob. They were dope AF too. Never got much into NOFX though. Punk wasn't really my thing back then. I needed the heavy

My parents named me after an Allman Brothers song and liked everything from classical, jazz to run dmc. I go through phases but my playlists are ridiculous when it comes to genre. My Dad introduced me to punk after we expressed an interest and this was in my Metallica and Dr Dre phase. He told my brother if he was going to listen to that crap re Green Day that he'd need to hear Sex Pistols, The Ramones, The Clash and Blondie so I've always had a wide pool of stuff I listen to. I freaking love Rush.

Nice! I got a chance to see KRS-1 twice and it's still two of the best shows I've ever seen. Good pics.

Well, color me jealous. Never got the chance to him, but I would imagine a great performance. He just put an album out last year, and everything you'd expect even all these years later
