"organic" = "less chemicals used to produce, maybe, just take our word for it"

Yea pretty much. I've always been surprised how many people think organic, as in the USDA label, means the same thing as something one grows at home. Even know people who wouldn't wash organic produce because they thought it meant no chemicals at all. Pesticide is pesticide in that case. If it kills it kills.

I should have used the word poison rather than chemical. And while one crop may be poisonous or not "organic", there is no way of knowing whats in the soil or when the wind blows does it blow onto the organic crop. Just another scam on the people

Yea another issue people don't think about. At this point, its unavoidable. All one can do is try to limit exposure as much as possible. Part of the reason I generally eat one meal a day, or at most eating a couple times in a 4 to 6 hr window. Give the body time to clean itself out. And back to the topic of the article, with very rare exception (say at a family/friend gathering), I refuse to eat anything from CAFO ops, and I will never actually purchase CAFO products. All my meat/eggs/dairy comes from the immediate area I live in.
